The DePaul Respite Program provides relief to caregivers by bringing trained staff directly into the home.
Caregivers often have difficulty participating in leisure or regular household/family activities because of the need to assist a family member with a developmental disability. Respite allows caregivers to engage in activities such as these, or to embrace quality time with other loved ones.
Trained respite workers promote the well-being of the caregiver, while maintaining a safe and secure environment for the consumer. Referrals are currently being accepted. Services are provided in Monroe and Livingston counties.
For more information and to discuss eligibility requirements, please contact the DePaul Developmental Services Respite Program.
