DePaul's T-Shirt Factory is a not-for-profit affirmative business that employs individuals with a mental health diagnosis who reside in Monroe County. The textile silk screening and embroidery shop produces such items as T-shirts, golf shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, tote bags, etc. DePaul's T-Shirt Factory offers mental health consumers an opportunity to learn the job skills they may need to enter a competitive employment market while earning above minimum wage in a community-based business. This is the first affirmative business in Monroe County to serve mentally ill individuals.
