November 19, 2013 (Denver, NC) ─ Wexford House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Denver, recently honored its veterans with certificates of appreciation.

Pictured here, United States Navy Chief Petty Officer James C. Wood presented certificates to residents Larry Joe Elmore (2nd class Signalman, US Navy), Edward C. Stelling (1st class Seaman, US Navy) and William H. Wooten (1st Lieutenant, US Army), flanked by Wexford House Administrator Pam Morrell. Chief Petty Officer Wood is Morrell’s son and will be retiring this month after 21 years.

“It was a privilege for me to participate in this event and to honor these men who have gone before me in the service of our nation,” said Chief Petty Officer Wood.
