Celebrating National Assisted Living Week (Heath House)

September 27, 2017 (Lincolnton, NC) ─ Heath House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Lincolnton, recently celebrated National Assisted Living Week (NALW) from September 10 to 16. Inspired by this year’s theme, “Family is Forever,” residents and staff took the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the strong bonds and lasting imprints they share with each other and the community.

Festivities wrapped up with an End of Summer Bash for employees. Established by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL), the theme of this year’s celebration “Family is Forever” was inspired by the Maya Angelou quote “family isn’t always blood, it’s the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are, the ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what.”
