A Night to Remember (Pee Dee Gardens)

May 2, 2019 (Florence, SC) ─ Seniors donned their finest formalwear, enjoyed having their hair and make-up done by staff members and volunteers, and put their best foot forward for the Pee Dee Gardens’ Memory Care Senior Prom. It was ‘A Night to Remember’ at the DePaul Senior Living Community in Florence.

Pictured clockwise above at the prom are Prestwick Village resident Jackie Singletary and her daughter, Prom Queen Elsie Montgomery and King Arthur McCullough, Carolyn Paquette, Brenda Scott and daughter, and Henrietta Wood and daughter.

The dining room was decked in purple, silver and gold decorations, Blended Harmony, a band consisting of volunteers from Homestead Hospice, provided the music, and high school students from The Kings Academy Key Club helped out with the event. The dietary staff at Pee Dee prepared pigs in a blanket, pimento cheese sandwich bites, a fruit tray, cheese and crackers, chips and dip and a cranberry spritz punch. Residents and family members took turns getting their pictures taken in a photo booth to capture the memories!
