Westwood Commons Going for the Gold

November 4, 2019 (North Chili, NY) ─ Competition, camaraderie and team spirit were on display at the 12th Annual DePaul Senior Olympics, held in Rochester in late-October. Residents of Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in North Chili, brought their A-game to the Senior Olympics and won!

Westwood Commons team included Ruth Willis, Joyce Vembre, Florence Michalowski, Jerry Yazback, Activity Director Cathy Toney, Manuel Gutierrez, Administrator Caitlyn Mark, Alex Pocchiare, Mary Masceri and Mary Ann Comstock

Events included a spelling bee, word search, ladder golf, shuffleboard, a putting green, arm archery and Wii Bowling. Westwood Commons participated in the annual games along with residents from four other DePaul Senior Living Communities – Glenwell in Cheektowaga, Woodcrest Commons in Henrietta, Horizons in Canandaigua and Wheatfield Commons in North Tonawanda.
