September 9, 2020 (Florence, SC) ─  Residents at Pee Dee Gardens, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Florence, have been taking the opportunity to slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures!

With Grandparents Day upcoming on September 13, residents reflected on the differences of parenting and grandparenting! Virginia Rogers, pictured here with a quilt featuring photos of her family, recalls how much fun it was to have the grandkids over to swim in the pool all summer long!

“We had the time to play with them,” she said. “When you are the parent, you don’t have a lot of free time.”
