Ingenuity and Imagination at Woodcrest Commons

Woodcrest Commons residents celebrated Black History Month in February by creating paintings inspired by Alma Woodsey Thomas, an artist and teacher from Washington, D.C. who was recognized as a major American painter of the 20th century. Pictured top left with her painting is Bonnie Martin.

Pictured top right, Diane Urban shows off a snowman craft made from a sock.
