December 29, 2022 (North Tonawanda, NY) ─ The holidays have been merry and bright at Wheatfield Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in North Tonawanda, with crafts, carols, and a visit from a very special guest!

Four elderly women enjoy festive activities: one holds a small elf doll, another decorates a gingerbread house, a third shows a drawing of a Christmas tree, and the fourth smiles while holding a teacup beside a poinsettia.

Residents also enjoyed a visit from the actor who portrayed Randy in the movie A Christmas Story, Ian Petrella, pictured here with Ruth Schultz! Petrella and residents watched the movie together and snacked on “leg lamp” cookies made by Wheatfield Commons Dietary Director Tara Casey.
