December 14, 2023 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─    With the holidays comes a cornucopia of reasons to feel merry, bright and grateful at Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga.

Pictured clockwise above, Glenwell residents received a giant card made by Miss Matter’s first-grade class at St. Mary’s Elementary School, where resident Rita Wrobel’s great-grandson is a student; Ronald Janicki and other residents made cards and baked chocolate chip cookie bars to honor local Veterans at the Buffalo Veteran Center, and in a countdown to Christmas, Grace Nowicki frosted cutout cookies and Ruby Joiner and Medications Tech Melissa Leon trimmed the tree.

Glenwell was recognized by Community Care Partners Challenge for being the top fundraiser, donating nearly $6,000 toward the Alzheimer’s Association WNY’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s!
