March 6, 2025 (Lockport, NY) ─ “Do the right thing and eat right.” That’s the secret to longevity for Jane Arlington, a resident of Heritage Manor of Lockport who celebrated her 100^th birthday on March 2.

Jane grew up in Barker, New York as an only child. She worked for the Harrison Radiator Company in Lockport, which is now part of General Motors, until her children were born. Married to her husband John in the early 1950s, Jane is the proud mother of three – Tim, John and Anne – as well as a grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of seven.

Jane moved from independent living at the Heritage Estates of Lockport into  Heritage Manor of Lockport on the same campus last year. A petite, quiet woman who knows what she wants according to Activities Director Lesley Genovese, Jane said she is surprised and honored to be turning 100 years old!
