July 1, 2025 (Rochester, NY) –   DePaul celebrates the life and legacy of former resident Michael J. Bowllan, a remarkable self-taught visual artist and gifted jazz pianist whose gentle spirit touched all who knew him. Michael passed away in January 2025, but his creativity and warmth live on through his art. DePaul employees and board members recently had the opportunity to experience his powerful and expressive work in person.

Michael’s artwork will be on display at Geva Theatre in Rochester until August 3, 2025. The artwork will generally be accessible during the following times: On performance days, Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On non-performance days, Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. To confirm daily hours, please contact the Geva Theatre Box Office at (585) 232-4382.
