November 26, 2025 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─    It’s been a season of connection, gratitude and purpose at Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga, from festive fun and creative crafts to honoring those who served and walking to support the Alzheimer’s Association.

Glenwell celebrated Halloween with the music of Tom Bender, donuts and cider, and festive attire! Pictured top left are Linda Markiewicz and Eleanore Stelmaszyk. Next up, residents began preparing for Thanksgiving with turkey-themed crafts. Pictured top right is Virginia Winter.

Glenwell’s Veterans Day ceremony featured readings, patriotic music, and reflection. In addition, Senior Wishes presented each servicemember with Hero Boxes which included medals, certificates, blankets, hats and mugs featuring the branch of military they served in and more! Glenwell staff, residents, family members and friends were proud to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association WNY Walk to End Alzheimer’s in October.  Glenwell raised a personal record $9,064 and was recognized as one of the highest contributing teams.
