Cruising with the Classics (Cambridge House)
July 2, 2014 (Hildebran, NC) ─ The price of restoring a classic car can range in the tens of thousands of dollars. The cost of gasoline to drive around Hildebran might be $20.
But the memories made when more than a handful of classic cars pulled into the parking lot at Cambridge House, a DePaul Senior Living Community, were priceless. More than one dozen community members volunteered to bring their antique and classic vehicles for a classic car display in honor of Father’s Day.

Cambridge House would like to thank David Puett, a classic car owner who’s father lives at the DePaul Senior Living Community and whose friends brought a collection of cars for the occasion on June 14.

Cambridge House would like to thank the volunteers who made this classic car display such a great success. They include David Puett, Richard Armstrong, Charles Smith, Mike Bowman, Ronnie Kaylor, Richard Tucker, Scott Sain, Paul Finger, Danny Foster, Tim Rapp, Larry Mosteller, Raymond Wilson and John Vaughn.
“Even after the cars had left, the residents continued to gather outside on the front porch to reminisce about the cars they owned, the trips they took in them and the fun they had ‘back in the day’,” said Activities Director Cheri Hahn.
