February 10, 2014 (Monroe, NC) ─ Woodridge, a DePaul Senior Living Community, invites seniors and caregivers to monthly support groups to discuss the aging process and the challenges and opportunities that come with it. Woodridge’s Support Group will meet from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of every month (except in August) at 2515 Fowler Secrest Road.

Discussion topics will include transitioning into an assisted living community for the resident and family, the dementia process, coping with changes that come accompany aging, how to make visits more memorable and much more. Light refreshments will be provided. Meetings will be in a relaxed atmosphere conducive to open discussions and will be held on February 27, March 27, April 24, May 29, June 26, July 30, September 25 and October 30. Future meetings will be announced at a later date.
