Active Aging Week (Cambridge House)

September 22, 2014 (Hildebran, NC) ─ The Foothill Line Dancers brought the Charleston Hustle, the Cupid Shuffle and the Electric Slide to residents at Cambridge House in September. It was a perfect way to celebrate Active Aging Week September 21-27, which highlights the ability of older adults to live well, regardless of age or health conditions.

“Our residents enjoy listening to the music and watching these dancers dance in unison,” said Activities Director Cheri Hahn. “Everyone is amazed that the group themselves are also senior citizens who have such energy, vitality and stamina!

A dance teacher for many years, Roseman said dancing helps her keep her mind sharp and her body active. Sharing her love of dancing is one of the best parts!
