Artists in the Spotlight (Heath House)

August 8, 2017 (Lincolnton, NC) ─ Several artists are sharing their talents and adding color to Heath House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Lincolnton.

Roger Green is an avid artist. A resident of Heath House for about two years, he loves bringing joy to people by sharing his drawings and paintings with his neighbors, visitors and staff.  Green paints every day and is especially talented at creating animals and nature scenes.

A retired Certified Nursing Assistant, Beth Bradham said crafting helps pass the time and keeps her mind busy. A resident at Heath House since March, she makes the crafts to sell to staff and visitors and donates the proceeds to the senior living community’s annual resident holiday party. Leading by example, she encourages other residents to stay engaged and independent by pursuing hobbies they enjoy.

Pictured here, Bradham shows off some of her crafts.

“We are proud to have such a talented artist in our community,” said Heath House Activities Director Millie Guy.
