August 16, 2017 (North Chili, NY) ─     The Gates-Chili based Just Us Band has been rockin’ the halls of Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in North Chili, for over four years now! Consisting of Angeline Furiso on percussion and vocals, Jon DelVecchio on guitar and vocals, and Salvatore Sorbello on keyboards, the band’s line-up has been the same for about the past 16 years.

Pictured here are Westwood Commons residents Mary Light and Barbara Sabatini with Sorbello, Furiso and DelVecchio of Just Us! Furiso and DelVecchio met when they started up a church group called Ghostbusters and things evolved from there. All three members are retired and enjoy performing classic rock and contemporary music for seniors at area assisted living communities and some private events.

“I do it for the looks on their faces and to see them get up and sing and dance,” said Furiso. “It’s rewarding, well received and we have a lot of fun doing it!
