Channeling their Inner Picasso (Dayspring of Wallace)

March 22, 2019 (Wallace, NC) ─ When it comes to arts and crafts, residents at Dayspring of Wallace, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Wallace, are taking their handiwork to the next level! Their art is adding a decorative flair to the community and providing an opportunity to socialize and collaborate with their fellow residents.

Pictured clockwise above with their 8” X 10” paintings and butterfly canvas art are residents Emma Usher, Henry Porter with staff member Jamella Corbett, Velma Jenkins and Lucy Morrow.

“I am all about bringing smiles and laughter to our residents,” said Activities Director Maria Iadonisi. “With any art project, there is not a right and wrong way to do it.”

The completed projects are now on daily display throughout the community where residents can proudly see and show off their work to friends and guests.
